Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 15, 2026
Pepper's Pressure Washing & Window Cleaning ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit pepperspressurewashing.com or request a quote, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep things plain, because you deserve to understand what we do with your data.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to respond to your request and run our website. That includes:
- Contact details you provide on our quote and contact forms — your name, phone number, email address, and the property address you would like serviced.
- Service details you share, such as the type of cleaning you need, the size of the area, photos you upload, and any notes about access or scheduling.
- Device and analytics data, collected automatically when analytics are enabled — your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and approximate location (city level).
- Cookies — small text files stored in your browser. We use a session cookie to make the site work and, where enabled, analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our pages.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you give us to:
- Respond to quote requests and answer your questions.
- Schedule, prepare for, and follow up on services at your home or business.
- Send you transactional messages (appointment confirmations, receipts, re-clean notices) and, if you opt in, occasional emails about seasonal cleaning tips or specials.
- Improve our website, fix bugs, and understand which pages and services are most useful to our customers in the Charleston area.
- Comply with our legal and tax obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only to the extent they need it to do their jobs:
- Resend — sends transactional email on our behalf (quote confirmations, internal alerts to our team).
- HouseCall Pro — our CRM and scheduling tool. Your quote details flow here so our team can prepare your estimate and book your job.
- Vercel — hosts our website and stores cached site data (such as Google review counts).
We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or the safety of others. If our business is ever sold or merged, customer data may transfer as part of that transaction — and you will be notified before your data is governed by a new privacy policy.
4. Cookies & Tracking
Cookies help our site remember your session and let us measure traffic. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; doing so may break some features (like form submissions). We honor the browser-level Do Not Track signal where it is sent.
Third-party services that may set cookies on our site include:
- Google Analytics — for aggregated traffic measurement.
- Vercel Analytics — privacy-friendly page view tracking, no personal identifiers.
5. Your Rights (CCPA / GDPR)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Delete your information (subject to our legal obligations).
- Opt out of marketing emails at any time — every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also reply with the word "stop."
- Opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information, so this right is automatically honored.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us or call 843-480-8113. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Data Retention
We keep quote-request and customer-service records for up to three years from your last interaction with us, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. We retain invoice and tax records for the period required by South Carolina and federal tax law (typically seven years). Anonymous analytics data may be kept indefinitely.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults — homeowners, property managers, and business owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page for at least 30 days. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
